We are so grateful for the opportunity to serve those in our care, and appreciate the kind words from them and their loved ones.
I would highly recommend anyone to bring their aging parents or relatives to Monroe House: You won’t regret a single moment. Monroe House is for sure ‘Heaven on Earth’.
We found Monroe House to be a wonderful placement for our Mom. The facility is beautifully decorated and clean. The residents all seem happy and comfortabaly interacting. There are pleasant areas set up for group activities and gatherings. It has a very welcoming and home-like atmosphere. Debbie Rhoades, the administrator is very caring with each resident and family member. We always felt welcome by her to answer any questions or needs we might have. We would highly recommend Monroe House, it has been a blessing to our family.
We have nothing but good things to say about Monroe House! From the moment we walked in for the tour, until the day mom had to move out to a higher level of care, the staff at Monroe House were absolutely amazing! All of mom’s needs were met and then some! The facility is meticulously kept and always clean! Communication with staff was beyond amazing. You will not regret living in this community! Our family can’t thank Monroe House enough for the kindness, care, love and respect given to our mom!
My family really liked when our father moved into the Monroe house. He enjoyed being there, they did a lot for my dad. They did an awesome job helping us care for him. I would recommend the Monroe House to anyone that is looking for an assisted place for their family member to live at. They are all awesome people. Thank you for being there for my dad and our family.
Monroe House is the best assisted living in the Moses Lake area. Recently my mom moved from another senior living residence to Monroe House. The Monroe House is well managed with competent, caring, friendly and long-term staff; clean, well-maintained facility, well organized with daily activities, tasty and well-balanced resident meals.
After searching for an adult assisted living facility for my mother we settled on Monroe House. What caught our attention was the cleanliness, 1 floor, how welcoming the staff and other residents were and how small it was! That was 3 years ago and have not looked back. At 99 years my mom keeps having more challenges and the staff has helped her as well as me to meet those challenges. I am so thankful to Monroe House!
The first thing I noticed was the smell, it smelled very nice and was very clean and tidy. My friend’s apartment is also very clean, tidy and aromatic. He told me his level of care is excellent. I’m so very glad my friend is in competent caring hands.
I’ll start with the simple review – it’s the best – I want to add that I work there, as needed, as Administration Assistant and Activities Assistant. I also have “gig work” there taking care of the needs of some of the Residents’ pets, and I volunteer my time interviewing each Resident with an upcoming birthday and writing their “Birthday Story”, which features their life, loves, military service, family, careers, etc.
We honor them as best as we can and take sincere pleasure in doing so. I love them so much.
I spend so much time there because I love it with my whole heart.
The Facility Director and all members of the Staff ( my co-workers ) are so wonderful, so caring, loving, attentive and so INTERESTED in each individual it’s honestly mind-blowing and I’ve never seen anything like it in my life.
The Facility is scrupulously cleaned, continuously well maintained, and well staffed with the best of the best.
If you have any experience with the food at other facilities it’s important to note that the Residents LOVE the meals the Kitchen Staff prepares!!!
If you schedule a tour for yourself or your loved one you’ll see just how much it feels like home. Chances are you’ll be greeted in the Lobby by “Mom”, our 102-year-old Resident. She was featured in The Herald last summer for her 102nd Birthday and her first ride on a Harley with our intrepid Maintenance Supervisor, who also happens to be my husband 😉
I could write a book about Monroe House. It would be filled with laughter and love.
